Va.. gtarck 11 —Secretary Ben Bwarta of the Wheeling Driving Club authorizes the announcement that the first running meeting to be held in the West Virginia metropolis this year will !..■ in connection with Ihe annual state fair, the week of September 4 to Sept. 9. Owing to the biisin-ss and industrial depression, from which the Wheeling and Pittsburgh districts, in common with oilier industrial centers, are suffering, it was deemed unwise to stage an early meeting thi* year, and the dates tentatively selected.
