LOSES VALUABLE YEARLING E R Bradleys North Star III Lovenot Filly Breaks Leg and Is Destroyed DestroyedLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky April 28 Col E R Bradley who is in New York and not ex ¬ pected home until Sunday night sustained a heavy loss at his Idle Hour Farm yester ¬ day afternoon when his yearling chestnut filly by North Star III Lovenot had to be destroyed because of a broken leg How the leg was broken is not definitely known said manager Barry Shannon but in al probability it was but a kick from one of the other fillies with which she was turned out in a sixtyacre field free from all ob ¬ struction The Lovenot filly was standing about the center of the field when her in ¬ jury was discovered There was no way tc save her Nothing remained but to destroy her She was not insured insuredCol Col Bradley has had bad luck with all but thre of Lovenots foals Blind Baggage her first by Sain was one of the fastest horses ever bred at Idle Hour Farm He was killed in a railroad wreck Believe Me Boys by Cunard won seven races and is the dam of the twoyearold Boys Believe Me by North Star III Believe Me Girls by Helmet was a good winner Believe Id Hour by Cunard was killed by lightning last summer The chestnut filly by Nortl Star III foaled in 1919 died of yellow jaun ¬ dice There was no foal in 1920 The next was the filly that was lost today Lovenot now has a suckling filly by North Star III Lovenot is by Voter True Love by Com ¬ mando Citronella sister to Bassetlaw by St Simon
