THE PORTER CASE DECIDED WASHINGTON D C May 11 A jury in the circuit division of the districts Supreme Court has decided that Edward B McLean publisher and turfman need not split the winnings of The Porter one of the best stake horses in his string with Samuel Ross Washington merchant and turfman turfmanRoss Ross sold The Porter to McLean for 15000 and he alleged a promise of onethird of the colts future winnings on the track Both parties agreed that these have amounted to 65000 since the change in ownership but McLean denied the existence of the agree ¬ ment
