LARGEST STUD IN CANADA With J K L Ross shipping many of his brood mares to Maryland Mrs L A Living ¬ stons stud is probably the largest in Canada today she having forty mares and the two stallions Kingship and Lovetie This year they have nineteen foals with four mares yet to hear from They have two sisters to Hamburg Belle with foals by Kingship one of them foaling for the first time since she entered the stud eight years ago The twen ¬ tythreeyearold Missing Link dam of Lad ¬ der of Light and Moll Cutpurse has a foal as have the dams of Widow Bedotte Ran cocas Starkader Kama and Chaste Star Then that good mare Amelia Jenks has a fine filly by Kingship while Pandorina that won the Kentucky Endurance Stakes the last fourmile race to be run at Louisville when she was only a threeyearold has a bay filly by Kingship The division to date is thirteen fillies and six colts The stable is well supplied with material for racing next year with twelve yearlings seven colts and five fillies
