Won ridden out; second and third driving. HIGH TEA raced into an easy lead after going the first eighth, but was tiring and driving at the end to retain her ndvantage. CORTO was always iu closest pursuit of the winner and responded gamely when called on In the final drive. ORIENTAL raced unmolested in third place throughout. BLUE RIBBON took the lead quickly and, showing the most speed, finished gamely, but tiring. WINDING THROUGH saved ground on nil the tarn3 and had no mishaps, but was tiring at the end. ST. DONARD could ne7cr get up, but finished resolutely. ICON was shuHled back after the start. MARMITE saved ground when eu-tcring the stretch, but quit in the final eighth and rices inconsistently. BILL I1KAD began slowly and was forced very wide on the first turn, but closed up fast and gamely through the last quarter. SUPBRMAID tired after going well for three-quarters. DON DODGE ran poorly. KL CAPITANIA moved up into a contending position while rounding the far turn, but lost considerable ground by coming wide when entering the stretch.
