SEQUEL quickly raced into a good lead and easily held sway ail the way. j j i TASSEL steadily improved her position and finished fasiest of all. SUN DOLL was hard ridden throughout and ran well, but tired in the last strides. MONARDELLA raced wide on the turns, but finished I well. POOR 1-USS closed a gap, but was in close quarters in the last eighth. RURKE ran well. DKL-! ; CADIA came extremely wide on the last turn and lost ground. SIMPLEX ran green. The latter raced forwardlv all the i way, saved much ground when entering the stretch and finished fast. BLAZES ran a good race, but tired , j in the stretch drive. SMOKE SCREEN began slowly and moved up rapidly on the last turn, but retired in the stretch. LADY MADCAP does not run well in soft going. ETHNEA saved ground on nil the turns and took the lead at the eighth iost, but could not withstand the winners rush. FELSIDE di played much speed and raced SUN THISTLE into defeat in the early runnlug, but tired fln.UIy. BRIGHT TOMORROW closed a big gap and finished fast. SUN THISTLE unseated her rider while at the barrier and ran away a quarter, then rushed into the lead at the start, but tired after going a half mile in the lead.
