Won handily; second and third driving. MAYPOLE raced in close early pursuit of FLORALIA and, taking the lead in the- stretch, held DOUBTFUL safe in the final drive. The latter began slowly and made a wide stretch turn, but finished fast and gamely. ISOMORPHOUS raced gamely and wore FITZRUE down at the end. FLORALIA quit nfter showing the most early speed. Won driving; second and third the same. MOSS FOX IL. suddenly and tremendously improved, raced forwardly from the start and, passing FEYLANCE, took the lead and gamely outstayed BUSTER in the final drive. BUSTER, away slowly, was rushed up to the lenders and taken to the outside on the stretch turn, then finished fast and resolutely next to the inner rail. MAKE UP came through the stretch with a belated rush. COLANDO closed a gap and finished fast at the end with a bandage loose on a hand leg. OLD TOP steadily worked his way up on the outside, and, taking the lead in the stretch, held NULLI SECUNDUS safe at the end. The latter began slowly, but closed a big gap and was running fast at the finish. HOT COAL ran well, but tired after racing into the lead. AUNTIE EM had no mishaps. S ALTON showed the most early speed, but quit in the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same. LAST ONE at once rushed into an easy lead, but had to be hard ridden all of the last eighth to outfinish MESSINES. The latter, away slowly, moved up with a rush on the stretch turn and was going fastest of all at the finish. SIREN MAID was a forward contender all the way. but tired in the final sixteenth. SUNDIAL II. ran well. COTTON BLOSSOM was on the outside all the way and finished fast on the extreme outside. REDSTONE tired. MOCK ORANGE was fractious at the barrier. The latter was a forward contender all the way and made a resolute finish. MAY ROBERTS ran well and out-finished the tiring BEVERLY BELLE. The latter was much used in following THEO closely in the early running and tired. THEO set an extremely fast pace, but quit in the final sixteenth. LITTLE AMMIfC ran well.
