, I ENGLISH HORSES NOW DUE Steamship Missouri Brings Consignment of Thoroughbreds for American Breeders. A fine consignment of English thoroughbreds recently purchased by American breeders and turfmen is on the way to this country aboard the steamship Missouri, which left England August 2 for New York. r The mares Rosedrop and Biplane and a chestnut yearling filly by Charles OMalley Summer Girl are consigned to AValter J. Salmon. Aroma, Bargain and a brown yearling colt by Brown Prince Derby China are consigned to Frederick Johnson. Rosedrop is a chestnut mare, fifteen years old and an Epsom Oaks winner, by St. Frus-: quin Rosaline, by Trenton. She has been bred to Somme Kiss. Biplane is a twelve-year-old bay by Ayrshire Gravitation, by St. Simon, bred to Cylgad. Bargain, a six-I year-old bay, by Carbine Pindi, by Galopin, j is safely in foal to Son in Law. Aroma is a j three-year-old bay filly, by Santry Martial ! Note, by Carbine. She has been bred to I Brigand.
