IMPROVEMENTS AT BOWIE BALTIMORE, Md., October 30. -lames F. OHara, general manager of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association, was host to a large number of friends and newspaper representatives at an oyster roast at Bowie Sunday afternoon. The vast improvements completed at Bowie will be surprising to the patrons this fall, while the wants of the stable help have been fulfilled with a kitchen that is the best in Maryland. Separate accommodations for owners and trainers have been erected, which will meet a long-felt want at that point. The clubhouse has been enlarged, while the track has received a new layer of soil which will bring the going much faster. . c-
