Won handily; second and third driving. LOYTKRKR raced into a good lead after entering the stretch, but tired in the final eighth and -was hard ridden in the final strides. BECKNA moved up gamely when straightened out in the stretch and was -wearing the leader down at the end. DAYDUE, under slight restraint in the early . running, finished gamely -when called on, but tired under his impost. GOLD PLATE was a forward contender and made a game challenge in the final half mile, but was unable to keep pace with the leader. WYNDOVER showed the most speed for a mile and jumped cleanly, but tired after going a mile and a half.
