WINNIPEG raced into an easy lead in the early running ami was eased up through the last sixteenth. MISS MAZIK closed a big gap and finished with a rush through the stretch. Won driving; secend and third ths same. SAN PABLO had to be hard ridden to outstay HKLIOCROSS after passing BIERMAN at the tliree-eighths post and taking the lead. HELIOCROSS finished fast after saving ground on the stretch turn. DUKE OP WELLINGTON began slowly and finished fast. PUFF BALL quit in the last eighth. WAWONA ran a good race, but tired tf ter taking the lead at the eighth post. HAVANA ELECTRIC set a great pace, but was much used in racing FAITHFUL GIRL into defeat and tired. CYDONIA began quickly and, showing great speed in early pacemaklng, tired in the final drive. DR. HICKMAN ran well, but had to le ridden out to out-finish BELLE OF ELIZABKTHTOWN.
