Went to post at 2:31. At post 5 minutes. Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. TURBULENT sprinted into the lead in the first eighth and held the race safe to the finish. WIDA was kicked on the off hind leg by EASTERN STAR while going to the post and began slowly, but made a fast finish. EASTERN STAR tired after racing well to the last eighth. Won driving; second and third the same. LUI-MEME raced into the lead and drew away after rounding the last turn, hut was tiriug at the cad and had to be hard ridden to outstay PUFF BALL. The latter set a fast early pace and was wearing the winner down at the end. HATRACK ran well and was going fastest of all at the finish. The latter set a very fast pace for five-eighths, hut tired badly in the last sixteenth. SALVO ran a good race and made a game finish. The latter finished fast after saving ground on the stretch turn. BELLE OF ELIZABETI1TOWN Eet a very fast pace, but t:icd under her weight after entering the homestretch. DAINTY LADY ran well, but tired in the last eighth. GOLDEN RED tired, but outfinished HOMAM. WHIP-IOORWILL began fast and showed the most speed for three-quarters, but was eased up at the end. Overweights Mrs. Grundy, 1 pound.
