ENGLISH-RACING OF 1923 The Epsom Derby of 1923, the mo3t famous race in the world, will be run next year on Wednesday, June 4. The English flat racing season begins at Lincoln, as usual, on March 15 and closes at Lingfield in the London district on November 24. The dates for the running of the classic races of England are as follows: Two Thousand Guineas, Newmarket, Wednesday, May 2. One Thousand Guineas, Newmarket, Friday, May 4. Derby, Epsom, Wednesday, June 4. Oaks, Epsom, Friday, June C. St. Leger, Doncaster, Wednesday, September 12.
