TOE THE MARK was badly outpaced in the early running, but worked his way up on the outside awl, coming fast in the stretch into the lead, was going away at the end. DE BONERO ran a good Rice, but tired after racing CAVALIER into defeat. MISS CALTHA finished fast and close up. CAVALIER M!t and forced a good pace, but tired near the finish. RUDDLICS ran well. McLANE moved up rapidly from the head of the stretch, where he came wide, but was tiring at the end. RED ran well and outiiuished DEKRTRAIL. The latter finished olo-.e up. BLUE HAWK was somewhat cut off by the winner when his rider attempted to bring him through on the inside, but finished fast and outgamed LITTLE j SMOKE.
