JOHNSON BUYS AND SELLS NEW YORK, N. Y., December 29. Barnes F. Johnson, owner of the Quincy Stable, recently sold to J. E. Madden the chestnut yearling colt by Omar Khayyam Prude, by Meddler, and the yearling bay colt by Wrack Fox Trot, by Star Shoot. Mr. Johnson purchased from the master of Hamburg Place the brown yearling colt by The Finn Frankness, by Miller. He is a half brother to Be Frank. The latter was at the top of his form as a three-year-old, winning the Latonia Derby and the Latonia Cup in 1919. Mr. Madden has retired the three-year-old filly Minima to the Hamburg Place stud. Minima is by Friar Rock Miss Minnie, by Meddler, and is a half sister to Grey Lag.
