BESS WELCH moved up steadily while rounding the last turn and, saving ground next to the rail, wore the leaders down and got up to win in the last twenty yards. HAZEL DALE, after setting a fast pace, shook ANGELA off in the stretch, bat could not quite withstand the winners rush. ELGA steadily held her position and made a game finish. EVALYN HARRIGAN was saved close lip until after rounding the far turn, then raced to the front and. being hard ridden through the final eighth, held LAURA COCIIRON safe in a fast finish. LAURA COCIIRON raced forwardly and persistently and, responding to a call, finished wearing the winner down. DRIFTING came from far back in the last quarter. MOTOR COP set a great pace and hung on tenaciously, only succumbing in the final strides. DOCTOR CORBETT made up ground from a slow beginning. LION DOR was sharply shut off soon after the start and shuffled back to last, then came font through the stretcli and probably was best. Scratched 07302 Bill Rendered, 95.
