GEORGIA ROSE began well and was eased back when going to the first turn then moved up swiftly on the stretch turn and, taking the lead, came away in the last eighth to win casing up. NIGHT SHADE sprinted into the lead at once, but could not withstand the winners rush. SPANISH NAME came fast through the stretch. MILLIR G. ran a good race. NEAT GIRL wa3 away poorly. Won handily; second and third driving. POPPYE. close up from the start and saving much ground on the turns, raced into the lead with a rush just after reaching the stretch and won comfortably. ARROWHEAD, after being back and ridden wide on the last turn, came with a rush and was going fastest at the end. FIFTY-FIFTY closed a gap and came fast iu the last eighth. CARE FREE -et a fast early pace, but began tiring in the last eighth. GUVNOR was done after going five-eighths. DR. JOE closed a gap. KNOT GRASS quit badly. RUSTEM, was fcrced back just before reaching the stretch, but finished well. PAUL MICOU came from far back in the last quarter. KINGSCLERE was knocked back after going the first quarter. The latter began badly and was far back at the start, but closed a big gap and finished with a rush. CHILDS PLAY ran well, but suffered from interference and a poor ride. RED ARROW retired after leading for a half mile. BETTER TIMES quit badly in the stretch. PANDOWDY was forced back in the first quarter.
