SEQUAN ran a fast race from a little slow outside beginning. SAN ISABEL showed fine speed to the stretch, where site tired. BEAU SHOT also tired. COCK O THE ROOST and CEDRIO tired after racing well to the stretch. VESPER BELLS raced well and finished gamely. MARSE JOHN showed the most early speed and but for being hemmed in next to the rail by VESPER BELLS when ncaring the end would have been second. NORFORD HONEY tired after racing into a clear lead. JACK LEDI was going extremely fast at the end. DOVESROOST closed a big gap. PONZA RAY quit badly. QUEEN CATHERINE and SETTEE raced each other into exhaustion. SPELLBINDER was sharply shut off twice and was cased up through the final quarter.
