FAIR GROUNDS NOTES I U. S. Wishard has taken over the horses owned by C. -J. Brockmiller and will train: them in the future. Charles L. Trimble, secretary of the Ak- Sar-Ben track at Omaha, Neb., will arrive here "Wednesday to interest horsemen in the l mining of the meeting at Omaha during the spring. Dates are May 31 to June 23. C. "W. Finch, the veterinary specialist from Jeffersonville, Ind., was among the arrivals during the forenoon from Havana. Dr. Finch immediately operated on Post Haste and a two-year-old belonging to Edward Trotter for wind trouble.
