PLEA OF IRISH TRAINERS Horsemen Ask for Postponement of Declaration Dates Because of Strike. The Trainers Association in Ireland has passed a resolution requesting the stewards of the Turf Club to alter the declaration dates for important two-year-old races from the last Wednesday in the present month to the last Wednesday in April. The association states that its request is to apply to this season only, and that it is made because of the temporary dislocation of trainers arrangements during the first fortnight of the Curragh stable lads strike. It is expected that the Turf Club will receive a deputation from the trainers within a few days.
