BOWIE TURF NOTES Curlv Brown was among the first-day visitors. W. A. Shea was another that viewed the races from the clubhouse inclosure. Joseph McLennan announced to horsemen that the Havre de Grace stakes close on Saturday. I,. T. Bauer arrived from New Orleans fully recovered from an operation for appendicitis, John Pangler arrived here from Havana with jockey J. Dawson and is making his engagements. Jockey B. Breuning has closed with S. I,. Burch and will do the riding for the Washington Stable. The stables of L. J. Carey and H. S. Bowns will be shipped from here to Jamaica at the close of this meeting. Jockey J. Wallace has been notified to report to trainer E. Trotter at Louisville several days prior to the opening. * .
