C, April 6.— One of | , the stables which wintered at Benning and prepared for the Maryland racing season at ■ ! the old track of the Washington Jockey Club is that of Sclby Burch, youngest son of the ; i veteran bora man W» P» Burch. | Young Burch is training a public stable I made up of twelve horses belonging to dif- c forent wm-rs. He has three horses for the: Salubria Stable of Admiral Cary T. Grayson, I I Unco for Of oral J. A. Buchanan, three for1 W. J.. Hc-rnstadt and Old Welbourne for Dr. A. . Randolph of Virginia. He is also training two horses which will race in his I own inter-Htt All of the thoroughbreds in the Burch barn wintered well and have been in training ! through most of the cold season. During the past few weeks the trainer has teen , I tightening them up with the idea of cam-! panning them at the early Maryland meet-in;;-, and practically all of them are ready | for the colors.
