Won handily; second and third driving. OIJ WEIJIOCRNE began slowly, but slipped through fast on the inside on the stretch turn and. finishing fast, passed SHINE ON and was going uway at the end. SHINE ON took the lead at once and raced AU. IN ALL into defeat, but made a wide turn when entering the stretch and tired badly when challenged. HANDS LP was away well and a forward contender throughout. ALL IN ALL showed speed and had no mishaps. GRKNADK closed up some ground in the stretch. BRIGGS lit HASAN met with repeated interference. ST. MARTINS began slowly and, racing on the outside throughout, tiring badly at the end. Overweight -Shine On, 1 pound. ~ r7CQC7 THIRD RACE— 6-8 Mile. May 16. 1923— 58%— £—111.
