RACING COMMISSION MEETS LATONIA, Ky., Sept 13. Members of the Kentucky State Racing Commission met at: Latonia Thursday afternoon. The only important matter was the contention over the claiming of the horse Ed Pendleton. The former owner contended that there was some irregularity in connection with the claiming when he became the property of A. F. Day. There had been a ruling made formerly by the commission denying the horse privilege of starting. This ban was removed and a further hearing of the case was set for September 27. W. O. Payne having withdrawn his request for racing dates at Dade Park no need for action by the commission in this matter was requested.
