Won driving; second and third the same. BIDDLEDEE followed the pace closely until straightened out in the stretch, when she moved up fast and out gamed MESS KIT in the final drive. The latter showed a lot of early speed and saved ground all the way. BODANZKY ran an even race. DRAPERY, from a slow beginning, closed a big gap and finished full of run. HARAX, ridden with good judgment, finished gamely under an energetic ride and won in the final strides. OLD SINNER began flatfooted and Powers made a lot of use of him after passing the half-mile post, where he was rushed to the front. He tired in the final eighth with victory in his grasp. The latter was hustled to the front soon after the start and set the pace to the stretch, where he tired badly wiicn challenged by ROCKING. PRIAATE PEAT saved ground entering the stretch, but tired after racing COL. PAT into defeat. The latter tired badly. SILVER STRINGS ran well. FUSILEER was close to the rail at the stretch turn and on the inside at the finish, losing by inches. J. G. BICKEL went wide entering the home stretch and this cost him the victory.
