PASSING OF R. D. JAMESON LONDON, England, April V It. D Jameson, one of the best known figures on the Irish turf for the past forty or fifty years, died recently at his residence, Balbriggan. County Dublin. He was about 77 years of age. He was a brother of W. G. Jameson, who won the Grand .National with Come Away in 1891. and was a breeder and owner of race horses. He was also a director of the Baldoyle Race Company, of which he was chairman until atxmt 1907. Mr. Jameson was elected B member of the Irish .National Hunt Chase Committee in 1888, and of the Turf [Club five years later.
