SHORTY was forced wide when eutering the stretch and finished fast through the final eighth. ANNK MINOR unseated her rider when going to the post and ran away a slow seven-eightha, then set the pace to the stretch and tired in the final drive. ANURY MOOD ran a good race all the way. JOHN I. HARRY CARROLL raced forwardly from the start, responded well when called on in the final eighth and oiitgamed JACQUES at the end. The latter raced well throughout but tired in the final drive. NORTH BREEZE closed a big gap from a slow beginning. SPUGS saved ground on the turns but tired at the end. SANDPILE was eased up through the stretch and pulled up slightly lame.
