At Washington Park ParkOne One Best Bet AREGAL In the Seventh Race The heavy rains of Friday night played havoc with ths track at Washington Park and as a result the going was quite heavy for Saturdays races There is little likeli ¬ hood that it will improve enough over Sun ¬ day to be fast for todays races but with the new drainage system which has been in ¬ stalled it should dry out much faster than was the case last year Plenty of warm sunshine should help it considerably and the indications are for good weather weatherThe The best race on the card is the Kenwood Purse at one mile which engages a small but select band to race for the 1400 purse The remaining races are all of the claiming variety with horses with a penchant for muddy going quite conspicuous among the entries entriesXIXETEEN XIXETEEN SIXTY HONEYFISH JOE ADAMS ADAMSThe The opener is for twoyearold maidens to race over the fiveeighths distance and a limit field is expected to go to the post in this event NINETEEN SIXTY seems to be improving with each start and if he gets to the post would stand a good chance of being returned the winner HONEYFISH was able to land the place money in his last two starts at Aurora and a repetition of either one of those races should see him close up at the finish JOE ADAMS turned in a good race his last time out which was at Pimlico and taking a line through that ef fort lines up as next best KISCHEF MACHER is possibly the best of the others othersTHEO THEO RED LEVOY BIRD BEHAVE BEHAVEAnother Another limit field is expected to go to the post in the second offering a dash of seveneighths of a mile THEO RED a re ¬ cent arrival from Churchill Downs raced well in his only start there and may be good enough to take this purse providing he dis ¬ plays the same brand of speed LEVOY is good in the going and his recent races give him second preference He is about due for a winning trip and would not surprise if he were to turn the trick here BIRD BEHAVE would need to improve but little over his last start to get some part of the purse CLEM THEISEN will bear watching watchingWILDRAKE WILDRAKE WAPOXOCA BASHA BASHAThe The third a threequarters dash figures to be between VILDRAKE WAPONOCA and BASHA with the former given the call He is good in the going and in his present good form rates a shade the best of the last two mentioned WAPONOCA raced fairly well at Aurora and in his only race at this course turned in a good effort though beaten and he may cause the winner plenty of trouble today BASHA continues to show good form and a repetition of his last start at Aurora should earn him some part of the purse JOE JUNIOR is a good mudrun ¬ ner and should an upset occur he Is liable to be the one to turn the trick trickHATS HATS UP REDSKKT UP AND DOWN DOWNTrack Track conditions matter litfc to HATS UP and if he has retained his best Kentucky form will prove a tough on to beat in the fourth race He was at the peak of his form racing over the Churchill Downs track and stepped down in front in fairly fast time REDSKIN has been showing some signs of returning to form of late and a race back to his trials should find him closest to the winner at the finish UP AND DOWN may be good enough to save the short end of the purse LAST CENT is not without a chance but he may not like the going WALLY J raced in Improved manner his last time out outCUD CUD GELLER IRON MASK IL GEORGE DE 3IAR 3IARCUDGELLER CUDGELLER in his present good form la pcssibly the best of those entered for the Kenwood Purse He has some good ones pitted against him but a race back to his first time out at this meeting which was a winning performance should see him getting home in front IRON MASK II is not the racer he was last year but occasionally he flashes some of his oldtime speed and when he does is hard to down In a running mood today he figures to be the one to give CUDGELLER the most trouble GEORGE DE MAR could land the show money if he were to repeat his last race BANTON may prove troublesome troublesomePOWER POWER LITTLE AMMIE HAWK GOD GODIf If POWER were to repeat her last efforts she should be returned the winner of the sixth race over the mile and an eighth route She has been some time in reaching winning form but in her last start which was at Aurora came home in front with plenty to spare LITTLE AMMIE has been more or less consistent of late and her usual race should see her taking down the place portion of the purse HAWK EYE and FORELAND figure close together for third with the former given the preference preferenceAREGAL AREGAL SIR JOHN X MOLLIE MOLLIEMYHILL MYHILL MYHILLAREGAL AREGAL is a mudrunner of the first flight and he should show to his best ad ¬ vantage in this field He was entered Satur ¬ day and how he fared is not known at this writing Regardless of the result then he figures the best of this band SIR JOHN K is of the honest sort always giving his best and he may be abe to knock down the place money here MOLLIE MYHILL is on the improve and should be able to hold the others safe for the show if she shows the same brand of racing today that has marked her recent races The others do not call for much
