TRED AVONS FAST MILE NEW YORK, N. Y., May 25. William Irvine came up from Bowie to work Sylvester Labrots Tred Avon over the Belmont Park track. The mare was ridden by Mack Garner and she turned in a mile trial in 1:40. The pace was even throughout and she could have gone much faster. The fractional times were :12, :24, :38, :48, 1:01, 1:13, 1:27.
