WASHINGTON PARK NOTES i Stalls for the string of ten that Sherrill Ward will race through the Chicago season have been set aside at Lincoln Fields. The stable, headed by the crack juvenile stakes-winning filly Wise Daughter, is shipipng from Bowie and is due at the Crete course early next week. Jack Howard stated this morning that the i unbeaten Advising Anna, has fully recovered from coughing and that he hopes to have 1 her under colors before the close of the Washington Park meeting. W. J. Hirsch has the three-year-olds Foxy Quiller, Dashing Widow and High Tariff, i at Washington Park for Morris Vehon, Chicago i patron, and four two-year-olds and ! Fairy Stone, a three-year-old for his father, Max Hirsch. The two-year-olds are Chinese . Empress, Ballancer,-Terrain and Legionary. Young Hirsch will have charge of stakes cligibles his father sends West for their engagements and his stable probably will be strengthened by the addition of several from his fathers large eastern stable. Ft. S. Eddy, Jr., and Joseph Cattarinich returned last night to Cleveland where they are identified with the Bainbridge Breeders and Racing Association. They were here Thursday for the meeting of the Illinois Turf Association. Sweeprush, the Illinois Derby winner, breezed three-eighths at Washington Park Friday morning in :38. It was his first breeze since his surprise victory in that Exposition Park race. The track was sloppy and he worked around the "dogs". As final preparation for the Illinois Oaks, Bright Bubble went a half mile in :51 handily, and At Top, three-eighths in :37 in the slop and around the "dogs" at Washington Park Friday morning. Clyde Ponce wired from Washington, D. C, for stalls for five which he will race through the season here. Stalls for the quintet have been set aside at Lincoln Fields. Ponce plans to leave Maryland June 2. .
