MATA HAEI SLIGHTLY INJURED DETROIT Mich June 9 One of those unfortunate occurrences that happens at the last moment robbed the Michigan Cup Han ¬ dicap of one of its stars when Charles T Fishers Mata Hari became cast in her stall and in attempting to free herself became entangled in the hay rack Luckily her con ¬ stant attendant was able to free her before she injured herself seriously but trainer Clyde Van Dusen deemed it advisable to withdraw her from this afternoons engage ¬ ment The filly met her misfortune shortly after 1 oclock while the halfholiday crowd was en route to the track Later trainer Van Dusen said that the unfortunate accident would not keep her out of the Detroit Derby
