WAR ADMIRAL AND SEABISCUIT IN WORKOUTS AT LAUREL PARK LAUREL Md Oct 20 George Conway trainer of the Glen Riddle Farm horses bad War Admiral on the track at Pimlico early Thursday morning and permitted the fouryearold son of Man o War Brushup to breeze four furlongs with jockey Charles Kurtsinger in the saddle as an opener for a more important work on his schedule The colt covered the distance in 49 the early fractions being 12 24 and 36 Sev ¬ eral hours after War Admiral breezed his opponent Seabiscuit from the Charles S Howard stable was brought out on the track by trainer Tom Smith and in company with Chanceview another member of the string breezed the same distance in 49 Seabis ¬ cuit and Chanceview were given lessons in the walkup start and in their trials were timed in the following fractions 11 24 and 36
