DAIGER WEATHER PROPHET PROPHETBALTIMORE BALTIMORE Md May 10 Matt Daiger secretary of the Maryland Jockey Club en ¬ hanced his reputation as a prognosticator here this morning As day broke over the Preakness course a chill wind was whipping the trees around the track was muddy and altogether the weather was more like Novem ¬ ber than May Daiger scanned the sky and the track and said Lovely day sir The track will be good and the weather warm and fair fairBefore Before 10 oclock the wind had subsided to a breeze and the sun was shining Ben Jones trainer of Whirlaway inspected every foot of the track on his pony and declared The track looks good
