SEROY TO RACE THREE BANGS AT FAIRMOUNT PARK MEETING MEETINGMay May Start in Decoration Day Handicap at Collinsville Oval OvalCOLLINSVILLE COLLINSVILLE 111 May 12 Three Bangs a handicap performer will soon be shipped to Fairmount from Sportsmans Park and is a likely starter in the Decora ¬ tion Day Handicap May 30 30His His owner and trainer Fred Seroy wired racing secretary Raleigh Leigh for two stalls for Three Bangs and Manymor and advised the group would leave the Cicero oval in plenty of time before the local opening Three Bangs has been bangup thirds in two handicaps at Sportsmans In the Inau ¬ gural Handicap at that point he was beaten only a half length by the P L Kelley entry of Float Away and Highscope The Saturday following he wound up in the same spot beaten only a length by Highscope and Cool ¬ ing Spring while finishing in bold fashion fashionThree Three Bangs caused one of the surprises of the recent Hot Springs meeting in a threequarter mile handicap performance over a heavy track Finding a heavy track to his liking Three Bangs made a show of good ones such as Maechance Forever Prince and Idle Sun SON OF SIR GALLAHAD ffl fflA A sixyearold son of Sir Gallahad III the same sire of the 1930 Kentucky Derby win ¬ ner Gallant Fox Three Bangs did not find his true racing legs until last summer at Dade Park Since Three Bangs whipped an outstanding field in the Governors Cup Handicap he has continued to tussle suc ¬ cessfully with the best at any track his owner campaigned campaignedThree Three Bangs was one of the stars of the fall Fairmount Park meeting as he annexed several handicaps His reputation as a stretch runner is well known to local pa ¬ trons and the horse undoubtedly will be well backed in the coming inaugural feature featureFor For quite a spell Three Bangs was the onehorse stable of Seroy who holds the horse in deep regard as a pet in addition to a racer but last fall here Seroy claimed the plater Manymore as his stablemate
