Del Mar Changes Application ApplicationLOS LOS ANGELES Calif May 30 Willard Tunney general manager of Del Mar an ¬ nounced today that a supplemental appli ¬ cation for racing dates beginning July 1 and ending August 19 a total of 39 days which will include programs on Monday July 3 Monday August 7 and Monday August 14 will be filed with the California Horse Racing Board when it meets here Wednesday This application will super ¬ sede the one now in the hands of the board which requested dates for a meeting from July 28 to September 4 If these dates are granted it will mean virtually continuous racing in southern California until Novem ¬ ber 2 for Hollywood Park is scheduled to open its gates on August 25
