Petition in Aldred Trust Case Is Taken Under Advisement AdvisementBOSTON BOSTON Mass June 20 Federal Judge George C Sweeney has taken under advise ¬ ment the petition of Charles F Stratton of New York seeking to displace Gordon B Hanlon and his associates from the management of the Aldred Investment Trust Strattons petition charges that Hanlon and his adherents in the local financial organization have mismanaged the affairs of the Aldred Investment Trust particu ¬ larly in the sale of public utility securities and industrial assets to obtain capital with which to purchase controlling interest in the Eastern Racing Association AssociationCounsel Counsel for Hanlon former federal judge Hugh D McLellan argued that Hanlon and his fellow defendants had not mis ¬ managed or misconducted the affairs of the Aldred Investment Trust McLellan stated that Hanlon was within his rights in the purchase of the local racing associa ¬ tion when McLellan stated Hanlon bought in order to put the Aldred Investment Trust on its feet financially financiallyAttorney Attorney Jdseph N Welch representing Stratton argued that Hanlons trustees were merely instruments of his wishes in carrying out Hanlons policies Welch stated that Hanlon bought the Racing As ¬ sociation for the sake of the salaried posi ¬ tions to be had by Hanlons associates He urged the appointment of a receiver and a new board of trustees for the Aldred In ¬ vestment Trust
