Jockeys Basile and Baouris Injured in Freak Accidents AccidentsHAVRE HAVRE DE GRACE Md May 20 Jockey Mike Basile was forced to cancel all his engagements today as the result of an unusual accident while returning to the jockeys room after one of Saturdays races Basil was walking along the board walk at the rail kicking his boots against the planks A splinter went through his boot and then spread into small splinters piercing between his toes Infection de ¬ veloped over the weekend and Basile may be out of action for several days until the swelling goes down in his foot footAnother Another jockey casualty was Gus Baouss who suffered a broken nose just before the running of the second race on Saturday although the exact extent of his injury was not learned at that time He was astride Stanley Sagners MaryBud when that threeyearold tossed her head suddenly and caught Baouris in the face fracturing his nose
