First Arlington Condition Bookto BeOutWednesday BeOutWednesdayWill Will List Appreciable Increases In All Types of Overnight Races RacesThe The Arlington Park Jockey Club an ¬ nounced yesterday that the first edition of the 1952 condition book has been sent to the printer and will be distributed to horsemen on Wednesday of next week weekIn In keeping with the highervalued stakes announced previously the new condition book will represent appreciable increases in overnight races of all categories The pol ¬ icy established over a decade ago of bigger purses for better horses will be main ¬ tained This policy is practiced at most major tracks around the country countryIn In discussing the 1952 purse distribution which was designed before his recent ill ¬ ness Benjamin F Lindheimer executive director of Arlington and Washington Parks said saidIt It has always been the policy of Arling ¬ ton and Washington Parks to increase stakes and purse distribution as general business conditions appeared to warrant With racings prosperity apparently mov ¬ ing upward in 1952 our future stakes pro ¬ gram announced last September at the close of the 1951 meeting was considerably increased in value valueThe The entire stakes program announced in March of this year represented a total of 1000000 in added money an alltime high highAs As the condition book will indicate there has been an even greater proportion ¬ ate increase in the values of our overnight races all along the line
