DASH-O-LIGHT improved his position steadily and wore down DOVER COAST. The latter was rated early, attained a dear advantage when LETS LIVE faltered, then was unable to resist the winner. HALORETTE made up ground from far back. LETS LIVE set the pace and weakened. ALL BUSY lacked a rally. BLUE FEDORA failed to attain prominence. DELPHY flattened out badly. WORLD SERIES raced in close attendance to the pace, wore down NAHRAWAN and held the others safe, MARSHALL dropped back after breaking alertly, was roused late and closed well when able to move between horses. BOSS JOHN hung in the final drive. NAHRAWAN raced QUIET MAN into defeat to attain command entering the stretch, then drifted out slightly while weakening. QUIET MAN gave way after setting the pace. AMPHISPIRIT, in front along the inside early, was eased to the outside while allowing INTERPLAY to draw clear leaving the backstretch, then circled that one to regain command and won easily. BY PROXY trailed into the stretch and closed with a rush to wear down ABRACADABRA. The latter lacked a menacing rally. INTERPLAY held a clear lead after a. half mile and gave way. MI-MARIGOLD raced within striking distance, but failed to rally when urged. POMPANO moved to the inside to save ground early, but faltered. Overweight Amphispirit, 1 pound. ITSTHETRUTH raced evenly. UPSETTER flattened cut after being in the first flight to the stretch. MISS PENSIVE was through early. WISE MARKET broke tardily. OUR KITE turned in a dull effort.
