Elder, Knisley Ride Doubles HAMILTON, Ohio, Aug. 18. Jockeys Charely Elder and Colin Knisley were the riding stars of the opening day program at Hamilton as each veteran had a saddle double. Elder, who was a leading rider at this half-mile course last season, got off to a fast start in the defense of his title, winning the first and third races of the day with Nifty and Cordscript. Both were public choices which shows that the fans remembered Elders ability on the sharp Hamilton turns. Knisley took the second race with Temple Bar and completed his double in the final race of the afternoon with the thirteen-year-old mare, Little Fawn.
