Graff ius Accepts First Mount HAZEL PARK, Mich., Aug. 18. Apprentice Richard Graffius, of Omaha, Nebr., and under contract to Charles C. Kranz, accepted his first mount here today astride Dama Farms Lucky Sweep in the fourth race. Graffius, 17-year-old, is a nephew of the veteran reinsman, Hank Manifold, and he has been with Kranz for the past three years.
