Mox Mox was in a soft spot, swung wide at the far turn, losing ground, but was much tho best and ran past the leaders when called on. Budget of Fun ran a fair race under her light impost, but tired in the final sixteenth. Pinetop caught Lazslla tiring in the closing strides and easily passed her. Tho latter showed early speed and needed the race. Jennie Doty Bhowed improvement. Overweights Pinetop, 2J pounds: Joe Fields, 5. Mox Mox, show, out. Sandfiea was favored by a running start, but failed to hold her advantage. Trombone was right there all the way. Blanche Sheppard ran a fair race, finishing fast next to the inner rail Deponan finished well, but probably needed a race. High Jinks was short and was nulled up in the stretch.
