Glisten was cut off in the first eighth, but got clear sailing after turning for home and moved up fast in the center of the track winning as her rider pleased. Jennie Moore showed speed, but tired fast in the last sixteenth. Wreath of Ivy came with a rush at the end and would have been second in a few more strides. Muresca was much the best and showed keen speed throughout and won as her rider pleased. Mimo stood a long stretch drive stanchly. Tom Maybin tired in the last sixteenth. He has probably had a little too mucli of it lately. Glassful ran well for five arid a half furlongs. Joe Martin was right there to the last eighth post, where he fell away. Crest as usual showed keen speed throughout and won as her rider pleased. She is a sure and careful jumper. Dr. Nowlin was somewhat slow at the jumps, but took them cleanly. Flying Torpedo gradually wore down First Chip in the final eighth and held him safe thereafter. The formers jockey was unseated in a false breakaway and he ran away one and one-quarter miles before he could be stopped; Taking this into consideration he ran a high-class race. First Chip got a flying start of two lengths and showed speed, but tired fast when challenged by the winner. Airlight fell away badly beaten when turning for home. Hargis came fast at the end.
