BERT KNAPP DIES AT LOS ANGELES. Los Angeles. Cal.. February 1.- Bert Knapp. a former well known jockey, died early this morning at the Hermosa Hotel of quick consumption. He had been ailing for some time, hut was confined to his bed for only two days, severe hemmorhages hastening his demise. Knapp rode in Russia. Germany aad Pvaaee some four or live years ago, and did Well until he grew careless about his health. His mother ami sister live in Indiana ami have telegraphed that they will be here to take Charge of the remains.
