NOTES OF THE TURF. William Garth lias purchased the contract on Jockey Beekinan from T. D. Sullivan. Mose; Golelblatt has brought Keep Moving to Hamburg Place for a rest before shipping to New Orleans. Cederstrome, among other horses of minor Importance, arrived at J. S. Barbees Glen Helen Farm yesterday. William II. Dubois has bought back Smiling Tom, which was taken from hint out of a selling race last Tuesday by J. W. Blalock. Dubois paid ,250 for the horse, or 1907.sh00 more than the amount of Bla locks successful bid for him. Patsy McDermott, who rode Towlander to victory in the Suburban Handicap in ISO.!, Is in New York from England. He Invented a horse liniment some time ago, which lie sold to Lord Carnarvon over in England, but the remedy proved a failure. San Tan, a six-year-old brother to Iloratins, which has never raced for the reason that E. J. Ramsey, hLs owner and trainer, could never get him to stand training, is doing well this year at Oakland and Ramsey expects to send him to the races early In the meeting. All Alone, which E. Peters, secured from Oscar Lewisoun by the selling route for D. Kelly Tuesday for ,400. will be taken by Mr. Peters to California after the close of the meeting at Bennlng along with other horses he will race on the coast for T. M. Cassldy and R. McKeever.
