ELLISON RESTING IN CHICAGO. C. It. Ellison arrived In Chicago yesterday from Memphis anil will remain in the city for about two weeks, stopping at the Auditorium Annex. Mr. Ellison .says he bail thought of racing in California this winter, but had changed his mind em account of the long distance to .ship. He said Sir Navarre was so badly injured when he was shipped east last spirng that he did not race during the summer and he does not want to take any chances in shipping the colt a long elistnee again. Mr. Ellison is highly pleaseel with the success of Ills stable this year both in the, south and east.
