SANTA ANITA STAKE DATES. "The postponement of the opening of the new track at Santa Anita Park will not make any difference as regards the stakes," said an official of the Racing Association at Los Angeles a day or two ago. "The order of their running will remain unchanged. To insure against any confusion as to the running of the stakes, In the event the track should not open on Thanksgiving " day, I took the liberty when arranging the dates to have none scheduled for decision in the two weeks following Thanksgiving day. The second stake Is advertised for Saturday, December 14. The Inaugural Handicap will therefore be run on the opening day us iutended, only the date will be December 7 instead of November 2S. The stake books are now belug prepared for the printers and will be distributed within a week."
