TROUBLE OVER FAIRBROTHERS CONTRACT The stewards of the Jockey Club arc to be called upon to adjudicate the financial side of the sale of jockey Charles Fairbrother to Mr J E Seagram of Waterloo Ont the Canadian turfman arid member of parliament Mr Seagram bought Fair brother from Steve Davidson who got him through his onetime partner W R Little from U Z De Annan Littles claim is that he acquired the boy and some horses through a debt by De Annan and turned them over to Davidson who also had some horses The stable had poor luck arid wheu Davidson wanted 2000 from Little at the close oC the Buffalo meeting of 1906 Little could1 not furnish it Some one else did and Davidson got the stable to Saratoga where August 13 1906 to close the matter up he signed an agreement with Little to give the latter twentyfive per cent of the sum for which the contract on young Fairbrother the stab ¬ les best asset might be sold The sate waB set made tintll some weeks ago svhea the Setrrwa U1 ble took the boy Davidson has mot paid Little the agreed percentage and the latter is abomt to tof the matter before the Jockey Cltfb and seek to fcavt tuat body force Davldaca to kttprbla igc8MM t
