Last year his horses won 1,825. and in 1006 but 6,320. His greatest winning year prior to 1008 was 1003. when his stable figures were 4,755. But this year, thanks mainly to the fleetiiess of two magnificent young horses of his own breeding, he is able to contemplate with complete satisfaction a stable return of 71.-317. a total attained by but few men in any year.
