LIVINGSTON STRING AT BLUE BONNETS Montreal Que August 11 The advance guard of the horses that will race here during the autumn meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club are now housed at flu course through the arrival of the string owned by Mrs L A Livingston These horses were brought to Montreal by trainer Matt Feakes from Hamilton where the majority of them suffered from influenza They have not been raced for some weeks but are now ready for work in preparation for the fall campaign at Blue Ponnets and Toronto The string includes Lovetle the famous sou of Ildrim anil Luray which lias started on only one occasion this summer Lovetie in body looks to be a better horse than two years ago when he es ¬ tablished many a track record on the Canadian cir ¬ cuit He Is also sound in limb but Is touched In the wind so that he cannot be depended on to run the good races of his three and fouryearold sea ¬ sons Lovetle will not be raced after the conclusion of this season according to his trainer but will be sent to the stud and with the advantage of being mated witli good mares is likely to develop into a prominent sire sireIn In sneaking of Sotemia which mare won the Kentucky Endurance stakes of last year trainer Feakes stated that her racing days were likely over and that she has been sent back to Rancocas Farm She will be replaced this fall In the rich Kentucky stake by Pandorina and the threeyearold Kingly The latter is a grandlooking colt and justifies all that was said of him after a recent sensational race at Hamilton Kingly will rc named In tlio ma ¬ jority meetingAnother of the open stakes for the local meeting Another In the lot that has developed well Is Lyric Muse a sister to Lovetie This one is not on the large size but has shown plenty of sneed in all races run Privet Petal lias grown considerably since his victory here in the spring and is now a goodsized twoyearold Fuzzy Wuzzv should also give a good account of himself this autumn
